@Julia: If you're asking, the colors are sort of "loud" for my taste. I think a more muted background frames content better. OTOH, I'm still waiting for my 2G device, so I don't know what it looks like after the login screen.

Hi, Ken. Thanks for your comments. We put a lot of thought into the color schemes. We wanted something that was appealing to kids so that they felt comfortable carrying the device around with them. We wanted them to be "cool" to the kids. Having said that, we are also working on a plain black unit for adult personal security purposes. We may have this available for the children too. Hope this helps.

I think this device will give parents/guardians peace of mind.
I am so impressed that I'd like to be involved in its marketing/distribution.
I was watching cw31 yesterday and a $200 discount was offered for pre-ordering this device.
