On June 18, 2009 our President, Russ Thornton, and our VP of Operations, Julia Howard, flew to Texas to meet with Bruce Seybert, founder of the Amber Alert system and Amber Alert Global (http://www.amberalertcreator.com/amberalertglobal/) to finalize a partnership between our companies. Mr. Seybert loves the efficacy and power of our 2G unit. Russ and Julia took him a test unit for him to see with his own eyes how it worked. Needless to say, he was impressed.Take a look at the photos in the photo section of this blog site.
Mr. Seybert was a neighbor of Amber Hagerman, the little girl who was abducted and subsequently murdered, and after whom Mr. Seybert named and created the Amber Alert system. This is a man who is very passionate about his creation and the saving of children’s lives.
When we told him about our Amber Alert GPS 2G child tracking device, he immediately thought of the US-Mexico border towns and the hundreds of children being abducted in the USA and taken into Mexico for prostitution.
We are so excited to be affiliated with this pioneer. He shared this 2G product with Mark Klaas, father of Polly Klaas, and he said it is exactly what he has been looking for. You will see much momentum gather the closer we get to our launch date in August.

PIERRE — It was tragedy that rocked Columbus, Ga. An upset father abducted and shot his three children and then himself, leaving a mother grief-stricken.
In the wake of the heartbreaking incident, an e-mail asking for donations for funeral services for the children began circulating. In the two days following the incident, it had reached far beyond the distraught population of the Georgian city to South Dakota.
But the e-mail, signed by a man named Pastor Charles Williams, the “Amber Alert founder,” might not be what it seems.
The e-mail points recipients to the Web site www.amberalertfounder.com and directs them to donate to the mother through a PayPal account. It also offers links to legitimate articles about the incident from news outlets in the Columbus, Ga. area.
“It seems unusual,” said Sara Rabern, public information officer with the state office of the Attorney General. “So many of those forwarded e-mails are scams.”
A few of the aspects of the e-mail make it suspicious.
Pastor Charles Williams, for example, is not the recognized founder of the AMBER Alert program, said Summer Duncan, communications representative for the U.S. Department of Justice, a member of the national advisory group for the program.
Also, those involved in the program don’t typically send out e-mails soliciting donations, said Robert Hoever with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, another national advisory group member organization.
“I have no idea if it’s a scam or if it’s true. I will say things like this create a lot of confusion on the part of the public,” Hoever said.
Hoever, who is also a retired law enforcement agent, warned against giving out personal information through unsolicited e-mails and donation sites.
The state attorney general’s office warns of the same dangers.
“If you get an unsolicited e-mail don’t give any personal information, regardless of what it is,” Rabern warned.
For individuals who are concerned about the legitimacy of such e-mails or sites but want to donate to worthy causes, Rabern suggests they call the attorney general’s office at (800) 300-1986, to check on the charity or donation organizers.
The AMBER Alert Program was named for 9-year-old Amber Hagerman who was abducted and later murdered. A state program coordinator sends out notifications to broadcasters, Department of Transportation signs, and sometimes lottery machines.
AMBER Alert Program National Advisory Group members such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children then take the notification to the next step and notify Internet providers such as AOL or MSN. Individuals can also sign up for free, wireless AMBER Alerts on their cell phones at www.wirelessamberalerts.o
I had a good conversation with Bruce Seybert and Donna Hagerman (Amber's mother) last night. Bruce and Donna have worked tirelessly and sacrificed much for the creation of the Amber Alert system. After the review of your disclaimer on the Amber Alert G.P.S. website I after careful concideration can not embrace that concept reasons are listed below.
1-This product may give rise to the loss of life
due to it's known not to work 100% of the time
2- It lures a parent or caretaker into a false sense of security.
3-The people promoting this product and endorseing this product can not be held liabile should it not work when you need it to (ie if your child dies with this product because they were not able to find him or her because of problems with cell phone towers you could not sue them) in essance they do not stand behind their product.
4-They are pushing out to worldwide commerence
a known flawed product which you must sign a wavier to release them from all libility should this GPS not work.
5- The only thing gaurenteed here is you the consumer gaurentee to give AMBER Alert GPS up to $50.00 a month for something they wont even stand behind themselves!

We welcome your critique of the product and disclaimer. Once you have experienced the convenience of GPS tracking on your child it will be hard to not have it daily. At the same time we are required to disclaim that cell phone towers, GPS satellites and GPS hardware have limitations. You will have some dropped calls with any mobile carrier, there will be occasional GPS satellite dead spots, the hardware will not last forever, and if you don't charge your battery, it won't work. As we state "Amber Alert GPS™ is not intended to replace direct parent supervision! At the present time, Amber Alert GPS is set up to function only in the continental USA.".
We will shortly be offering service in many countries, but not today. When you travel outside the USA, you need a specific cell phone plan to account for the roaming and additional costs.
As I mentioned before, this product cannot replace direct parental supervision. It is just another tool for parents. It is also the best product of its kind you will find in the market. We stand behind that statement.

Reguards to Donna & Pastor Williams getting together I think it would be a great idea, Obvisoly she has been shielded from the truth and the facts of Pastor Williams by those who actually fear Pastor Williams. why? because Donna, who has to my record never told Pastor Williams "thank You","which shows the gratefulness of her heart (or) the complete brain washing from those around her feeding her with fraudlent information blocking the truth from her"
What Seybert fears the most is that Pastor Williams & Donna will get together at some point as they should and He Seybert will be cut out of the picture all together thats what Seybert fears the most which is why in my opinion He is tring to hold on to Donna so close to Him.
Pastor Williams and Donna will present a crediable and unified team. That what I believe Seybert fears the most.
Actually I talke dupo the idea of the aMBERPLAN FOR 9 M,ONTHS BEFORE IT TOOK OFF, SO i GET SOME CCREDIT, ALTHO i DON'T REALLY WANT ANY. i TALKED TO M,ANY MANY MANY PEOPLE AND i AM SO GLAD AND THINK IT IS SO WONDERFUL THAT WITH OUR HEARTS AND MINDS TOGETHER WE COULD ALL GET ON THE SAME PAGE FOR THE SAFETY OF THE KIDS. I call ed many radio and other people and sent notes and I have nothin g to do with the parenets. But I know my determinationdid make a difference ! Good for us. Is anyone having trouble with there amber alert. My battery, even if not used for any alerts, wears down after 7-8 hours? Anyone else?
