Just so that you know we are not offering pre-orders on a something that doesn’t exist (as some have accused us of because of the delayed delivery date), I have received some photos from our team in Taiwan showing a little bit of what is going on in the production process. We have right now, in Taiwan, one of our top executives from Amber Alert GPS, our two programmers from Israel, and our manufacturer folks in Taiwan…it is quite an international effort. I hope the images are clear enough. I have put them up in the image section of this blog. Go there now to see what is cooking.
Here is what you will see:
Picture #1: this is a gps simulation machine that allows you to simulate speed and safe zone testing
Picture #2: the molding block in action – this is pressed together to form each of the 4 pieces of the housing
Picture #3: Mr. Chen, the big boss at the tooling factory, and Jack
Picture #4: this is the molding block at the tooling company – one of their machines cuts the shape of the unit housing into this block and it is used for the mold
Picture #5: team testing the unit (our US, Israeli, Taiwan team members)
Picture #6: Norman, one of the lead engineers on the project, making updates to the unit.
Enjoy
Alan
