Update from Alzheimers Association GALA

Published: 1:49 PM Mar 16th, 2009

I was able to attend the Alzheimers Association of Utah Auction last month. It was a wonderful event and everyone was so gracious and kind. I went as a representative of Amber Alert GPS. Again, the response to our child locator product was overwhelming.

Amber Alert GPS donated a Free G2 device with one year of service to help the Alzheimer’s Association of Utah raise funds at their Silver Anniversary Gala held in Salt Lake City on Feb 21st. Our donation generated hundreds of dollars in a silent action! The Winner? -Dr. Sara Wells of Holladay, Utah.

I was was on site during the reception to answer questions about this new technology and explain how this device can locate their loved ones who wander faster than any technology in the world today.

Interest was overwhelming! Assisted Living centers statewide were convinced this new technology will be adopted rapidly as the best solution for keeping our seniors safe and provide greater peace of mind to care-givers everywhere. They are calling for demos and more information even one month later! And Congratulations Dr. Wells!

By the way, check out the photos I took at the GALA. They are in the photo section of the home of this site.
